QSFP28 100G BIDI ZR4 80KM optical module, extending the transmission distance to 80 km, using a single core fiber to achieve upstream and downstream two-way data transmission.

Features of the product:

1. LWDM WDM technology is adopted

The product has built-in LWDM wavelength division multiplexer, which realizes bidirectional transmission through wavelength multiplexing of different wavelengths upstream and downstream using a single fiber. By reducing the use of optical fiber, the procurement cost and rental cost of optical fiber can be reduced, so as to achieve cost-effective network construction.

2.Achieve high-quality long-distance transmission

By integrating a high-output power laser at the transmitter and an optical semiconductor amplifier (SOA) at the receiver, the 30dB link budget required for 80km transmission is ensured, resulting in high-quality transmission. In addition, the product supports not only Ethernet signal rate (103Gb/s), but also OTU4 signal rate (111.8Gb/s) products.

3. It is possible to connect with existing devices

The electrical interface is the same as the traditional 100G QSFP28 product, 4X25G NRZ, and meets the specifications of 5.5W or lower power consumption, so existing QSFP28 ports can be easily introduced.
