High-Speed Detectors HSPD4018 & HSPD4040

To meet domestic customers' demand for fully localized high-speed photodetector (PD) products, Fiberwdm has developed two high-speed PD products with bandwidths exceeding 18GHz and 40GHz after nearly 2 years of R&D and optimization. The 18GHz PD has a rise time of less than 20ps, and the 40GHz PD has a rise time of less than 8.5ps. Their responsivity is no lower than that of similar imported products from Finisar, Thorlabs, etc., and the tail oscillation is also well controlled.

This series of high-speed detectors does not include a Transimpedance Amplifier (TIA) and features extremely low noise. It can be used for testing high-speed communication systems and femtosecond laser systems, and is a cost-effective fully localized product.

The linear power supply independently developed by Fiberwdm can fully meet the requirements of high-speed detectors in scientific research applications.

The HSPD4040 high-speed detector module is designed for both digital and analog applications. The module contains an InGaAs PIN photodiode which response wavelength covers 1250 to 1650 nm and necessary matching electronics. HSPD4040 can provide the bandwidth upto 40GHz .  The module operates on +5V. It complies with a standard single-mode 9/125μm fiber input. 100G QSFP28 Digital Coherent Optics (DCO) transceiver support 100G transmission over standard single-mode fiber (SMF) up to 80 km, with coherent detection of QAM modulated signals. The electrical interface specifically supports 100GE with SM - 100G - FEC application. This product is a 800Gb/s OSFP 2xSR4 optical module designed for 100m optical communication applications. The module converts 8 channels of 100Gb/s (PAM4) electrical input data to 8 channels of parallel optical signals, each capable of 100Gb/s operation for an aggregate data rate of 800Gb/s.   On the receiver side, the module converts 8 channels of parallel optical signals of 100Gb/s each channel for an aggregate data rate of 800Gb/s into 8 channels of 100Gb/s (PAM4) electrical output data.   An optical fiber cable with dual MPO-12 connector can be plugged into the OSFP 800G SR8 module receptacle.  Host FEC is required to support up to 100m fiber transmission.
